What is 3D for ? Modeling shapes, adding or deleting elements at will, illustrating a project before its realization... Many domains takes naturally benefits from the features given by the 3D: architecture, design, commercials, decoration... The progresses of digital medias technologies allowed application fields that were once reserved to big multimedia studios. 3D Computer Graphics works may become an animation, a classic picture or even so a scale model or a prototype matrix. Using references as drawing pictures, blue-prints, drafts, greatly improve this process.
A project intended to be used in an industrial environment needs to be rational and also to take in consideration the materials constraints.
